Gum disease Treatment is used for infections of the structure surround the teeth – including the gum, the bones, the roots and the ligaments – caused by the lack of oral hygiene and the accumulation of bacterial plaques. It is the most common disease in mankind and the main cause of tooth loss. Even at its most mild level, it can affect quality of life.

The most well-known diseases are Gingivitis and Periodontics.
Gingivitis is the inflammation of the superficial soft tissue supporting the tooth, and the symptoms include redness, bleeding when you brush, swollen gums, constant bad breath and bad taste in the mouth. This is the early stage to set a periodontitis, although not all cases progress to that, if the proper care is taken in advance. It means that it can be reversible and may be treated with help of hygiene sessions and improved of oral daily care.

Periodontitis involves the deeper supporting structures including bone destruction, and sadly the damage of periodontitis is irreversible, but the disease can be treated with properly care.
