Dr Modesto started her journey as a dentist in Brazil, and she received her dental degree at the University of Uberlandia, Minas Gerais. Although she was very young, thankfully she was carefully guided and mentored by a former professor with whom she eventually embarked on a 3-year partnership at his office.
After years of practicing, she ultimately decided to study in the United States of America to expand further her profession. With perseverance and exceptional grades, she was accepted at the University of Florida Dental School where she completed all the requirements to get her license in the U.S as well as a residency in General Dentistry at Shands Hospital, Gainesville, FL. – Yes, she is a Gator!
She believes that dentistry is much more than simply performing the work. Her drive for dentistry is really expressed when she is having the opportunity to be with a patient and discuss their oral health. She believes in education and that sharing responsibilities with her patients is creating a mutual goal of getting their oral health back.
Keeping up to date with the latest technologies to be able to offer the best options available is her main goal to bring the greatest solutions to her patients.
